Effects unlike anything else

Original Audio Plugins

NYX-DSP builds tools that don't exist anywhere else. Not emulations, not 'inspired by' hardware, not a rehash of what's been done a hundred times before - entirely original creations born from a little controlled chaos. We design original, joyful, occasionally even innovative software for producers, mixers, and sound designers who want something new.

The Plugins

A collection of unique tools from our digital tool shed. Some experimental, some outlandish, all designed to be unlike anything else.

Time for Chaos

NYX-DSP was made to create something different. We don't make plugins that sound like anything else, and we don't make plugins that look like anything else. Our namesake is the primordial being born from the void of Chaos, our creations seek to harness that same spirit.

Despite that touch of Chaos, everything we make has been painstakingly engineered & tuned. We strive to build tools that are at least as useful as they are unusual.

If you're looking for a vintage console strip or a classic reverb recreation, try another plugin manufacturer. NYX-DSP is here for when you want something entirely original. Also, we have cats.
